Terms and Conditions
We appreciate your custom and aspire to provide a friendly and safe experience.
We advise that all activities do carry a degree of risk and that by participating in the activity provided by the Operator you are expressly assuming those risks personally.
Bookings
At the time a booking is made, the person completing the booking (“the Booking Holder”) accepts these Terms and Conditions and enters into a legally binding agreement with Packrafting Queenstown.
Where a booking includes multiple participants, all participants are included under the original booking made by the Booking Holder. The Booking Holder is responsible for the booking and for ensuring that all participants comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Payments
Full payment for trips is required prior to departure. Unless otherwise agreed, the balance owing for a trip may be charged to the card provided at the time of booking.
All Terms and Conditions apply regardless of the method of payment, including card, bank transfer, cash or any other arrangement.
Trip Cancellations
Packrafting Queenstown reserves the right to assess cancellations on a case by case basis, however the following applies:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to departure may be eligible for a refund or transfer at the discretion of Packrafting Queenstown.
Cancellations within 48 hours of a trip departing will not be eligible for a refund. Within this period, Packrafting Queenstown is committed to paying all the costs associated with your booking, and the full amount remains payable.
Failure to attend a booked activity (“no show”) will be treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.
Bookings are non-transferable without prior agreement from Packrafting Queenstown.
Operator Cancellations
Packrafting Queenstown reserves the right to cancel or amend any service as a result of weather conditions, river levels, insufficient reservations or any other unforeseen event or circumstances.
In such cases, customers will be offered a reschedule or refund where appropriate.
Itineraries
An itinerary is issued by the Operator providing the services and activities described. Due to the complex nature of some trips, itineraries may be altered for safety or logistical reasons.
Health and Fitness
By participating in an activity, you confirm that you are physically fit and do not suffer from any medical condition which may be aggravated by this activity.
You agree to inform Packrafting Queenstown of any relevant medical conditions prior to the activity.
Guide Authority
You agree to listen to your guide, follow their instructions and ensure any children in your care do the same.
Packrafting Queenstown reserves the right to remove any participant from an activity if a guide believes safety is compromised. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
Media
Any films, sound, video or other recordings taken of or during the activity may be used by Packrafting Queenstown for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to be included, please advise prior to the activity.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all customers have appropriate travel and medical insurance.
General
Any decision regarding an exception to the stated policy will be made at the discretion of the Operator.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law.
DEPOSIT
- 20% non-refundable deposits are taken at the time of booking
CANCELLATIONS
As outlined above, we have a strict no refund within 48hrs of a trip departure time. We understand that occasionally problems arise that cannot be helped or are in the realm of extenuating circumstances. Whilst this can be frustrating, we cannot shoulder the financial burden created by cancelations for customers. If this is a problem, please check your travel insurance.
