Description
The Alpacka Wolverine is the lovechild of the Gnarwhal and Alpackas most progressive Whitewater boats such as the Alpackalypse. It’s the same rally hull we know and love from the Gnarwhal with aggressive rocker but with slightly lower volume tubes. This makes it easier to hold and edge than the Gnarwhal but more predictable on edge than the punishing Alpackalypse! This has created a high responsive packraft that dances from edge to edge with ease and comes alive across currents.
The wolverine comes as a self bailer which makes it more attractive than other lower volume packrafts for NZ conditions. It also comes with a tizip, back band, foot braces and patented 4 point thigh straps as standard. If you’ve got ambitions to roll your packrafts then this is the easiest to roll o all the standard alpacka models. Slightly lighter than the gnarwhal too.
The Wolverine suits small paddlers as well as those looking to add a little steeze to their paddling. If you’re unsure between this and the Gnarwhal, the gnarwhal will be more forgiving and stable and better if you’re a bigger person or top heavy (over 6ft or over 100kg).
